What you will do
As a Product Owner at bookU, you will play a crucial role in the gathering, analysis and communication of feature requirements for our product development.
- Work with stakeholders, including product managers and designers, to understand and document requirements for product features and improvements.
- Convert user needs into detailed requirements and functional specifications.
- Translate user requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support the product strategy by contributing to discussions on the product vision and potential improvements.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of product features and requirements.
- Help to assess and prioritize product improvements based on customer feedback and business value.
- Coordinate with development teams to clarify requirements and support the development process.
- Keep abreast of industry trends to suggest potential functional enhancements to the product team.
What we are looking for

- Fundamental understanding of product development processes and the ability to document clear requirements.

- Analytical mindset: Able to evaluate user needs and prioritize them into a structured list of functional requirements.
- Experience in requirement gathering and documentation: Proficient in creating detailed functional specifications and use cases.
- Technical familiarity: While not mandatory, an understanding of the technical landscape can help communicate more effectively with the development team.
- Previous experience in a Functional Analyst / Product Owner or related role is beneficial, demonstrating your capability in supporting product development processes.
