Marketing Lead

Somewhere right now, a planner is calling their tenth candidate of the morning.

Someone just cancelled their shift. The client needs a replacement in two hours. Cue the WhatsApp messages, the spreadsheets, the chaos.

This is the world bookU is rebuilding.

We orchestrate the on-demand workforce across the full value chain — connecting fragmented systems, unifying data, and enabling real-time talent matching across vendors, platforms and operations. Built to integrate. Designed to scale.

Now we're going further. Our Staffing Suite automates the full planning cycle: open shift, automatic match, push notification, confirmation, and instant rematching when plans change. From a tangle of calls and messages to a few clicks.

We're growing fast, and we're building for the thousands of businesses we'll reach tomorrow — not just the ones we serve today. If reshaping how an entire industry works sounds like your kind of challenge, we should talk.

What you'll do

  • Define and own the marketing strategy for an entirely new target audience (Enterprise accounts), with both local and international ambitions — and translate it into a concrete, multi-year roadmap.

  • Shape the go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with product, sales and management, ensuring positioning, messaging and pricing land effectively in the market.

  • Drive brand awareness and market positioning for our new product, both locally and across priority European markets.

  • Develop campaign concepts and integrated marketing programs.

  • Identify and orchestrate strategic visibility opportunities — relevant industry events, trade shows and networking moments at home and abroad — to put our product on the map.

  • Steer lead generation and sales enablement in partnership with the commercial team, ensuring marketing efforts translate into measurable pipeline impact.

  • Guide content direction that resonates with the needs and challenges of staffing partners, focusing on strategic narrative rather than day-to-day production.

  • Measure, analyze and optimize marketing performance, using insights to continuously sharpen our approach.

One more thing. We're growing fast, but we're not big yet. That means this role isn't a corner office with a strategy deck. It's strategy and execution, vision and the work itself. You'll set the direction, then go build it — campaign by campaign, event by event. If that sounds like your kind of mess, you'll fit right in

You who?

  • You bring at least 5–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment and ideally with SaaS products. You understand how the software world works and how to build a brand within it.

  • You hold a masters degree in marketing, communications or a related field.

  • You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You're comfortable shaping the direction of our marketing efforts and equally willing to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.

  • You have a proven track record in defining go-to-market strategies, building positioning and messaging frameworks, and translating these into integrated campaigns across online and offline channels.

  • You have solid command of digital marketing tools and disciplines (Google Analytics, SEO/GEO/SEA, CRM systems, marketing automation, social media) and know how to leverage them to drive measurable results.

  • Affinity with automated Outbound GTM is a big plus

  • You are entrepreneurial, take ownership and dare to pioneer. Exploring new territory and entering international markets energizes rather than intimidates you.

  • You are a strong communicator with a sharp pen, able to tailor your message to different audiences, content types and seniority levels — from end users to C-level stakeholders.

  • You are a true team player who works closely with management, sales and fellow marketers, and you're confident bringing your perspective to the table when decisions are being made.

  • You don’t mind travelling from time to time to attend (international) trade fairs and networking events.

  • Bonus: you have affinity with the world of staffing, HR tech or workforce planning.

Whoohoo!

If there's a match, we'd be glad to offer you:

  • A challenging role with strong growth potential and a competitive salary aligned with your experience.

  • A workplace that energizes rather than drains — including free access to the fitness facilities at Cotton Park to keep you in shape for our Marathon Challenge.

  • A flexible schedule, hybrid working options, and 32 days of annual leave.

  • Continuous professional development complemented by team-building moments such as barbecues and karting events.

  • Genuine recognition for your contribution to your own growth and to the future of our company.

Please note that we're looking for a permanent team member for this role and are not accepting freelance applications.
